HR Operations & Payroll reports to Human Resources (HR)

Our responsibilities


  • Merit, Recruitment and Exams - Process, recruit and hire qualified candidates in an accurate and efficient manner; provide eligible lists for permanent Civic Service recruitments; ensure hiring meets needs of programs, projects and service delivery to customers
  • Operations - Issue referrals and handle various appointments and separations; maintain accurate data collection and record keeping; support implementation of eMerge; streamline leave management system to improve attendance
  • Payroll - Assure that all employees are accurately paid in a timely manner; manage payroll system interfaces; ensure all payroll transactions are compliant with MOUs, state and federal laws
