The SFMTA has been designing and implementing street safety upgrades for people walking, riding bikes, and driving along Upper Market Street from Castro Street to Octavia Boulevard.

Several enhancements have already been installed and more improvements are on the way. The SFMTA invites the community to an open house to learn more about these additional planned safety improvements, which include sidewalk extensions, buffered and protected bike lanes, as well as potential circulation and parking/loading changes to improve safety and convenience.
