Metro subway stations are open for subway service on the J, K, T, M and N lines (K and T are now two separate lines).

This page shows the current elevator status of all Muni Metro elevators. If you notice an elevator out of service or in need of attention, please notify the nearest Station Agent. If you are not in a station, please call 311 (outside San Francisco, call 415.701.2311). 

Powell Station and Union Square / Market Street Station are connected at the concourse level.

  • You can enter or exit Powell Station via Union Square / Market Street Station street elevators.
  • You can enter or exit Union Square / Market Street Station via Powell Station street elevators.
