Muni Service |
L Shuttle Bus Provides service for the L Taraval line between Embarcadero Station and SF Zoo L Taraval Segment B construction has reached a phase where the rail tracks west of the intersection of Ulloa and Madrone streets have been taken offline to complete construction work. Work needs to be performed during construction to facilitate the reconstruction of the water and sewer mains as well as replace the tracks and overhead lines. July 9, 2022 service changes In response to changing trip patterns and subway improvements, service changes are scheduled for July 9 for the L Bus. Service will be shortened to run between the San Francisco Zoo and West Portal Station, with increased frequency of trips. With more subway reliability after extensive repairs and maintenance, many L Bus riders are choosing to transfer to the subway at West Portal for a faster ride to downtown. This allows the SFMTA to shorten the L Bus route while increasing frequency and putting limited resources on other routes that are experiencing crowding.
