Valencia Bikeway Improvements - Project Update and Upcoming SFMTA Board Meeting on 12/4

SFMTA Board of Directors Meeting Update

In collaboration with Mayor Breed’s office, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) will be proposing the Valencia Street Pilot Project for the SFMTA Board of Directors’ consideration on December 4th. This project will pilot and test a parking-protected bikeway on Valencia Street from Market to 15th streets. Additional project elements include better intersection visibility, school boarding islands and parking and loading changes. This pilot will help inform the long-term bikeway options for the Valencia corridor, as part of the Valencia Bikeway Improvements project.
