Hayes Street will be closed every Friday and Saturday for the remainder of this month for the Hayes Valley Shared Spaces event. During the street closure, Muni will reroute the 6 Hayes/Parnassus Route around the area.
Hardly Strictly Bluegrass is a free, annual music festival that takes place in Golden Gate Park (Hellman Hollow, Marx & Lindley Meadows). Festival hours are from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The SFMTA is working to minimize the transportation impacts around this event by providing attendees a variety of transportation options, including enhanced Muni service, taxi stands and passenger loading zones.
The Sunset Neighborhood will be hosting a Community Fall Festival and Oktoberfest Block Party on Saturday, October 3 on Noriega Street between 24th and 25th avenues from 12 to 6 p.m. There will be a closure of the aforementioned section of Noriega Street and Muni will reroute the 7 Haight/Noriega around the event area.
The annual Castro Street Fair will take place this Sunday, October 4, in the Castro from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Streets will be closed as early as 2 a.m. Sunday morning, and Muni will reroute around the area of the event.
