Acting Chief of Staff & Customer Communications Manager

Kristen Holland is the acting Media Relations & Customer Communications Manager. She has been the Manager for Customer Communications and Social Media, overseeing Muni Customer Service and the real-time alerts/customer service and social media efforts of the Customer Information Officers.

Kristen joined the Media Relations group as a Public Relations Officer in 2006. Kristen started at the SFMTA as the Chief Executive Officer’s (CEO) Executive Assistant in 2005. Prior to this, she served as the Advance Coordinator and Scheduler to San Francisco Mayor Willie L. Brown, Jr. and Director of Scheduling to California Secretary of State Kevin Shelley. She has a Master’s Degree in Communications/Film Studies from American University in Washington, DC.
