Alemany Bikeway Project

Project Introduction

The Alemany Bikeway Project will implement bikeway improvements along Alemany Boulevard from Stoneybrook to Putnam, part of the Vision Zero High Injury Network. The existing bikeway will be converted from one-way to two-way, giving more access to the Alemany Farmer's Market and connecting to the Protected Bikeway project ending at Putnam.

The project scope includes:

  • Installation of concrete K-rail barrier
  • Demolition and realignment of the concrete median island
  • Upgrading existing one-way bikeway to two-way
  • Repairing concrete parking strip
