On Saturday April 22nd, 2017, there will be a combined rally, march, and festival for the March for Science and Earth Day San Francisco. The rally will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Justin Herman Plaza; the march will begin at 12:30 p.m. and go up Market Street toward Civic Center Plaza. The Earth Day festival will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Civic Center Plaza.

From 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Muni will reroute transit lines that travel on or across Market Street east of 10th Street. Customers can expect delays and are encouraged to use the Muni Metro subway to enter or leave the downtown area.
