Noe Valley Merchants will host the Noe Valley Night Market on Tuesday, August 25, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. The market will feature live music, local food, artists, and retail vendors. There will be a small street closure and a reroute of the 48 Quintara/24th Street Route.
There will be a partial street closure and Muni reroutes on Thursday, August 27, for an outdoor event in front of Mad Dog in the Fog in The Haight.
The 2026 Pokémon World Championship will take place from August 28-30 at the Moscone Center and at Chase Center. There will be street closures and traffic detours in SoMa near the Moscone Center from Tuesday, August 19, through Tuesday, September 1. Muni service will not require any reroutes for the duration of the event, though some minor delays may be possible in the area.
The inaugural Visitacion Valley Night Market takes place on Friday, August 28, along Leland Avenue from 4 to 8:30 p.m. This free community event features delicious food vendors, local shopping, live music, street dancing, family-friendly activities, and resources from community organizations. All ages are welcome to celebrate culture, connection, and neighborhood spirit. There will be street closures and Muni reroutes during this event.
Hayes Street will be closed every Friday and Saturday for the remainder of this month for the Hayes Valley Shared Spaces event. During the street closure, Muni will reroute the 6 Hayes/Parnassus Route around the area.
