The Castro Night Market will take place on Friday, June 19, from 11 a.m. to Saturday, June 20, at 1 a.m. on 18th Street and within the 18th Street parking lot. The Night Market will feature local food vendors, merchants and live entertainment. There will be street closures and Muni will reroute around the event area.
Hayes Street will be closed every Friday and Saturday for the remainder of this month for the Hayes Valley Farmers Market and Shared Spaces event. During the street closure, Muni will reroute the 6 Hayes/Parnassus Route around the area. This event is expected to continue throughout the remainder of 2026. Website updates will be posted monthly as needed.
The annual Soul Food Festival will take place on Friday, June 19, from 12-7 p.m. and Saturday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Visitacion Valley. There will be a closure of one block of Sunnydale Avenue and Muni will reroute the 8 Bayshore, 56 Rutland, and 91 3rd Street/19th Avenue routes around the area.
San Francisco's annual Juneteenth Parade takes place on Saturday, June 20, beginning at 11 a.m. The parade commemorates the emancipation of enslaved Black Americans and celebrates African American culture. This year's parade route will be different from previous iterations, beginning at Market and Second streets and proceeding to Embarcadero Plaza. Muni service will be rerouted in the area of the parade and there will be multiple street closures.
The annual North Beach Festival will take place on Saturday & Sunday, June 20 and 21, in the North Beach neighborhood. The event will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day, but transit and traffic impacts will be in effect all weekend.
Juneteenth is an annual event marking the abolition of slavery in the United States. A joint celebration of Juneteenth and Father's Day will be held at Gilman Park on Sunday, June 21, requiring street closures and a minor reroute of the 29 Sunset Route.
