Gwyneth Borden is the Founder & CEO of Remynt, a fintech startup empowering consumers to rebuild credit while resolving delinquent debt. Appointed to the SFMTA Board of Directors in 2014, Borden is a long-time transit rider, regularly riding the 14/14R and 49 - the 14R is her favorite. Prior to appointment to the SFMTA Board, she served six years as a Planning Commissioner for the City & County of San Francisco. Borden has a history of transportation advocacy, having served on Mayor Ed Lee’s 2030 Transportation Task Force, and in 2003, when she led transportation policy for the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, she was appointed by the Board of Supervisors to be Vice-Chair of the Expenditure Plan Advisory Committee that authored the Prop K half-cent transportation sales tax. Borden is a seasoned public policy professional, having worked in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. She is also an active volunteer serving on nonprofit boards.
