The annual Día de Los Muertos procession will be begin at 7 p.m. in the Mission. Streets will be closed and Muni will reroute around the procession route. Read below for more information.

Street Closures

Parade formation will begin at 6 p.m. on Bryant, between 19th and 22nd streets.

The procession will begin at 7 p.m. and follow this route:

  • South on Bryant
  • West on 24th St
  • North on Mission
  • East on 22nd St back to Bryant.

Streets are expected to be clear by 10 p.m.

Muni Reroutes

Muni will reroute the 12, 14, 14R, 27, 48, 49 and 67 from 6:45 p.m. until streets are clear.

12 Folsom/Pacific Reroute will be along Potrero between 18th and 25th streets.
14 Mission Reroute will be along Valencia between 16th and Cesar Chavez.
14R Mission Rapid Reroute will be along Valencia between 16th and Cesar Chavez.
27 Bryant Reroute will be along Potrero between 18th and 25th streets.
48 Quintara/24th Street To Potrero Hill, reroute will be along 26th St between Valencia and Bryant.
To West Portal, reroute will be along Cesar Chavez between Potrero and Valencia.
49 Mission/Van Ness Reroute will be along Valencia between 16th and Cesar Chavez.
67 Bernal Heights Temporary layover will be at Valencia & 24th St.
