Event Summary
There will be a "No Kings" march along Market Street with a rally at Civic Center this Saturday, March 28, from 12 to 5 p.m. Muni service along Market Street will be routed onto Mission Street and service that crosses Market will have service switchbacks or reroutes to avoid the march area between, approximately, Market & Beale and Civic Center. There will be numerous street closures for event staging. Details below.
Street Closures
The following streets will be closed from 1:15 to 2 p.m.:
- Market from Beale to Steuart
- Steuart from Market to Howard
- Spear from Market to Folsom
- Main from Market to Howard
- All intersections with Mission Street will remain open
The following streets will be closed from 2 to 5 p.m.:
- Market from Eighth to Steuart
- Hyde from McAllister to Market
- Grove from Market to Van Ness
Muni Service Changes
The march and rally will require multiple Muni routes to deviate off of Market Street. During this time, it is advisable to use the Market Street Subway for travel along Market.
