Important
Do not pay the speeding ticket if you plan to protest it.
You must start your protest (Admin Review) within 30 days of the "Issue Date" found on your Speeding Ticket (Notice of Violation).
The registered vehicle owner is responsible, no matter who was driving, however there is a process to get the speeding ticket assigned to the new owner if you can meet these requirements.
Requirements
Documentation is required. In your protest, please submit at least one of the following:
- DMV certified Release of Liability
- A Bill of Sale stamped by DMV
Submit the Protest Online (Recommended)
- Visit the online portal at:
www.violationinfo.com - Click on Get More Information (inside large green block)
- Enter your Notice Number and PIN.
- Click on Submit for Admin Review
- Upload the required documents listed above.
Submit the Protest by USPS mail
- Complete the Speeding Ticket Protest Form

- Mail the form to:
