I Lost the Speeding Ticket

If you lost your speeding ticket, we can help you get a copy.

Email Us (Recommended)

The fastest way to get help is by email.

In your email, include all of the following:

  • The license plate number of the car
  • The full name of the registered owner
  • The mailing address of the registered owner

Email us at SpeedCameras@sfmta.com.

We use this to confirm your identity before mailing the ticket.

We can only mail you a copy of the ticket. We cannot send the Speeding Ticket ID number or PIN by email.

This helps protect your information and makes sure we only send tickets to the registered owner.

You'll Get a Confirmation Email

Once we submit your request for reprint and mailing, we will email you to confirm that it has been sent.


Visit In Person

Only the registered owner of the car can get the Speeding Ticket reprinted.

You can visit the SFMTA Customer Service Center in person.

You need to bring:

  • The license plate number of the car
  • Your driver’s license
    Important: The name and address on your driver’s license must match the registered owner of the vehicle.

We need this information to reprint your ticket.

The Customer Service Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

We are closed on federal holidays.
