Committee

Potrero Yard Neighborhood Working Group

July 10, 2026:  As the Potrero Yard Modernization Project moves into the construction phase of the bus yard component, we will be focusing on construction updates to local residents and businesses near the site — those who will be most impacted. This change in outreach focus means the work that the Neighborhood Working Group was set up for has reached a natural conclusion. Therefore, the Neighborhood Working Group as a body has disbanded as of July 10, 2026.

The project team feels fortunate to have worked with the members of the Working Group and we want to express our gratitude and admiration for their interest and involvement in the project.

— The Potrero Yard Modernization Project team

The Neighborhood Working Group

The SFMTA is working with a diverse group of neighbors, stakeholders, and SFMTA employees to plan for the modernization of Potrero Yard.

The Potrero Yard Neighborhood Working Group brings together community members to work with SFMTA staff and the Potrero Neighborhood Collective (PNC) developer team to shape public outreach, weigh in on elements of the project design, and inform the design and program of joint development (housing above the yard).

Feedback from the Working Group ensures that diverse viewpoints are considered and incorporated into the decision making for Potrero Yard.
